What is lightweight concrete, and why is it preferred?

At Kalif Design, we are the first company to produce in the lightweight concrete sector, creating contemporary and durable products with our specially developed formula. This terrazzo-textured special formula, developed by us, offers several decorative advantages, such as a much more aesthetic, modern, and timeless appearance compared to traditional concrete, as well as functional advantages like lightness and durability. To make our products more durable, all our product lines include iron reinforcements. Additionally, to protect plants in planters from adverse weather conditions, double-layer insulation is used. Thanks to these features, our products can be comfortably used in both indoor and outdoor settings. Furthermore, since our products derive their flawless colors from the original appearance of natural stones and do not contain paint, they do not scratch or fade.

Our products come with a 2-year warranty. Problems that may arise due to user error are not covered under the warranty.

Do we offer custom production?

In addition to our existing designs, we can produce custom sizes upon request. To date, we have had the opportunity to work with many landscaping companies, furniture stores, botanists, planter manufacturers, architectural-construction offices, and end-users, both with our current collection and regarding their special production requests.

What are the shipping/delivery fees?

The prices on our website include shipping fees for both within the city and outside the city.

How does the delivery process work within the city?

We have our own delivery team, and within the city, delivery and installation are handled by us. After production is complete, we will contact you to set a suitable delivery date, and the products will be delivered to you on the specified date.

The two-legged flat table model, Tartarus, comes in various sizes and colors and is entirely handmade. Tartarus, with its stain-resistant surface, derives its colors from natural stones embedded within it. Crafted using premium quality materials, the Tartarus table is polished with varnish to make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Designed with iron reinforcements, it is resistant to high levels of stress. Weighing 75% lighter than cast concrete, Tartarus is durable and economical. Its water-resistant surface ensures resilience against harsh climatic conditions.

What is Tartarus?

Tartarus is said to have emerged from Chaos in Greek mythology. It is known as both the name of a deity and a place in the underworld. Tartarus is believed to be the third deity to arise at the beginning of time. The god Hades utilized a deep pit for the suffering of the dead. This underground realm is known as the place where the souls of the dead are judged. In contemporary terms, it is associated with the concept of hell.
